WHAT IS NEXUS?

NEXUS (Nations Engaging in Exchange, Unity & Solidarity) is an initiative under the SET APRT iCare foundation, created to bring international students together across Ottawa’s campuses.

The aim is to create a welcoming and supportive space where students from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds can find community. connection, and support while studying abroad. Through events, conversations, and shared experiences, NEXUS seeks to reduce isolation, encourage cross-cultural friendships, ease the challenges of cultural adjustment and financial stress, and build a space that feels like a “home away from home” for international students.
