the heart behind easter expression

Easter Expression was born from a desire to live out the true meaning of Easter, not just in words, but in action.

This initiative is rooted in Easter’s message of new life, restoration, and the reminder that no situation is too far gone, no person is forgotten, and no story is without hope. Through this outreach, we are serving those experiencing homelessness, meeting tangible needs while also creating space for healing and expression.

Through care packages, we aim to meet practical needs. But Easter Expression goes beyond giving, it creates space for people to be seen, heard, and valued. This is why we chose painting as a form of expression. For many, there are emotions and stories that go unspoken. Art creates a safe space where words aren’t required where healing can begin. Painting becomes more than an activity; it becomes a release, a voice, and a reminder that there is still beauty within them and within their story.

As it says in Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

And through Easter Expression, we hold onto that truth that even now, beauty is being formed, stories are being restored, and new life is still unfolding.
